The Indiana Thoroughbred Alliance (ITA) is pleased to invite everyone to attend their first Backside Barn Tour at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in Shelbyville on August 28, starting at 9 am EDT.
Horse racing enthusiasts are invited to join Thoroughbred breeders, owners, trainers, veterinarians and industry professionals from all over Indiana during morning works at the track. The event, which is free, includes a tour of the barns and grounds of the Shelbyville racetrack, a chance for networking and learning more about horse racing and the Indiana horse racing industry, enjoy a free breakfast and be signed up to win a $200 Indiana winery package.
Indiana owner/breeder/trainer Brandi Steele and owner and manager of B&B Stables, Nate Brannin, organized the event as a way to introduce a different side of the industry to those who might not get the chance to see the horses on the backside.
Reservations are required and must be done by August 25 by calling 417-773-9745.
Don’t miss your chance for this rare opportunity! Bring your camera, wear comfy shoes and be prepared to smile all morning long!
